- Elgard™, when the machine is overloaded, the motor pulsates (rapid fluctuations in rpm). This occurs at a level just before the electronics cut the power to the motor.
- Functional ergonomics make the Husqvarna drill motors easy and convenient to operate.
- Softstart, an electronic current limiter, for softer starts. Full speed is reached about a second after the switch is turned on.
- Water-cooled gearbox (patent pending), where the water passes through the blade spindle, extends life of gearbox and gaskets.
- Standard attachment for the stand, and is mainly meant for wet drilling, but can be fitted with an adapter for dry drilling.
- Buttons and controls are ergonomically designed and easy to reach.
